About this position

This is a four month internship beginning September 2022. You will work directly with our Development team to write, develop, test and review code. This position includes remote and office work.

Responsibilities

• Software design patterns and practices, including writing better and cleaner codes

• Build web services that deliver across the web and mobile

• Assist in creating user friendly applications that will be used by contractors, operators, and governments

• Contribute to connecting the world with high-speed fiber networks

• Write unit tests for own work

Job Requirements

• Must be a current student in an Undergraduate degree or Masters program in a technical discipline (i.e. computer science, engineering, etc.)

• Basic understanding of DevOps

• React Native and/or Angular

• Python or other languages for writing backend APIs

• Up to date with the latest technologies

• Demonstrated passion for software development through Github and/or personal projects would be an asset

• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and transition quickly between issues with minimal supervision
